Description

Record stands made from American made 1/2” cold-rolled rod steel. Also included in record stands is long steel crossbars, and short steel crossbars for support.

Black and white metal stands are powder coated. Custom Finishes Available.

Consider buying STANDS for a custom look. You can use recycled wood or a local wood supplier for the shelves.

Wood Dimensions:

Bungalow: Three 40″ long shelves, 12″ deep, 3/4” thick suggest
Doublewide: Three 72″ long shelves, 12″ deep, 3/4” thick suggest
Townhouse: Five 40″ long shelves, 12″ deep, 3/4” thick suggest
SplitLevel: Three 72″ long and two 37″ long shelves, 12″ deep, 3/4” thick suggest

Tips about wood.
Wood can be cheaper when purchased as a larger piece then cut to size.

Consider unstained wood for the beauty of it.

Using thin wood as shelve will cause them to bend from weight over time. We recommend 3/4”.

Nearly any wood will work. However, some wood will do a better job.

Can the shelves be made out of metal? maybe. the issue will be the strength as lots of records are heavy. We do not have a suggestion of how to select metal shelves at this time.
